Analogue Emotions series of paintings 25 May 2020

Analogue Paintings to show emotions or feelings

MATERIALS
A3 watercolour paper
Watercolor pencils
Indian Ink
brushes
Fine liner pen for detail

Working in my illustrative style and exploring my story telling theme I sketched and painted four panels of random emotions or feelings.

UNITY
Unity - shows the group of three as a united trio - these are the heroes and stars.  Although not really conventional the three figures form a group that is meant to be together.

JOY/HAPPINESS
These emotions are shown with colour and content - Tango give a Poogie a ride in a balloon.

LONELINESS
Baby Tango is lost in the woods and terribly lonely - the dark forest should be enough to portray a hostile environment.

ANXIETY
Is the dragon friend or foe?  Tango was not expecting to see a dragon and is unsure if it is friendly or hostile.  I tried to use subtle muted colors and no background or detail in the environment.
