Melbourne Street Art - Exploring the Laneways

Street art was interesting as a site to display art work - the reception of viewers would be interesting to observe at one site for an hour or two .  The laneways are really outdoor gallery sites, free to view.

'Mosaic Man' - Sankar Nadeson -
A selection of street art I found in the laneways and streets of Melbourne . The semi-permanent nature of some of the work means that fresh work can be added to create a living Gallery for everyone to see.

My husband Dave showing the scale of the work - he is 6ft 2" and dwarfed by the art work.

Sometimes you need to look closely to find art - someone has nailed a tin to a piece of wood on a wall

Brisbane from the train - every wall seemed to be covered in some kind of street art and graffiti
