BVA313 Art theory - final thoughts on 2019

As year three comes to an end for BVA313 it is good to reflect on the year's journey through Theoretical Discourse -

Sometimes I think it was difficult to separate  Theory from History and Research, I think all three cross over as it covers one project for the year.

It has been great to find art theorists that have written about Creative Play and practice-base research.

Traditional theorists such as Carl Jung and Marcel Duchamp have also been cited.  I had to ask constantly - "Who is writing about art?"
The list of references has been collected over the past two years - theories on collecting, creative play, material objects, exploring issues about heroes and fantasy or fantastic art.

Tango Mango and the Poogies explored a make believe world with  themes of fantastic art, story-telling and visual narratives.  The ideas for these characters form a body of work that can be taken further to a published children's book or graphic novel and producing a stop motion or animated film.
