Jackie O'Neill - author

Seller - Block-Chain - Buyer - this is used in Bitcoin trading technology

Stops forgeries

It works in digital art - such as Crypto Punks who created 10, 000 pixel characters - some given to public for free and others can be collected and traded - current values average $40 - $50 with a rare one selling for $16,000.     This type of art appeals to new collectors - computer users and digital artists.

Dada.Art - a platform to collaborate and communicate digital art between artists around the globe.  In the true spirit of Dada, it is a collective effort.  See artist Boris Toledo Gutierrez - Chile

This gives artists a guaranteed, minimum income.  Christie's auctions collaborated with Startup Archery (Block Chain) enables royalties to be captured by artists - both living and estates 10% of the sale - this doesn't currently happen.

Research:

Mission - reference
Grant History - who has received grants and what for?
People - check out LinkedIn - look for board members - people in the organisation
Social Media -
Current Events

Repeat back their own language upfront - first rule of grant writing - making sure you really understand the other persons point of view - know exactly what they want - persuasion.

Flatter them by using their own words and mirroring strategy - do not cut and paste information - but customize your proposal.

Use innovation - how unique are your ideas?  Put them in one place - not throughout the proposal.  use the criteria - subheading innovation - remember the person will be reading a lot of proposals - make it easier to fill out their rubric - criteria.

Make up for inexperience by using the PAT technique -

  1. Passion
  2. Ambition
  3. Thoughtfulness & Technique
show your unique abilities and drive.

Write a headline - specific to your project

Teaching how to recycle objects into creative arts -
I want to show how to use recycled objects and make art

VVH techniques to craft your  - literary approach

  1.  Villain
  2. Victim
  3. Hero

Give your budget a narrative - responsible  with donors money

Do not use jargon (art speak) write in clear language - everyday so everyone can understand - they might not be familiar with art terms.

Set time lines- follow up mail or email - establish your reputation

Have a dedicated editor   - good ideas can be expressed poorly - the way you write your proposal will tell you a lot about you.

Make your proposal pretty -

Narrative budget - a supplement to the table - breaks it down or expands on information - explain each cost - justify the cost in detail.
