Question:  Slice for Theory Centered around Production,Authorship and Reception:  For the handmade and reassembled objects how is the best method to present to an audience?  Why is a diorama a suitable style to display assemblage and handmade objects? Production of my work - the making of assemblage art  and display of work The figures and characters I make could be formally  displayed on a traditional gallery plinth or a set of shelves, a cabinet of curiosities or in a suitcase - the diorama is a museum styled setting that suits my work, I found that in the history of diorama the suitcase is a method to display - this suits my work as the case forms part of the assemblage work and also contains memory or nostalgia.  Suitable also for the aspect of play and creativity processes involved in my work.
